Residents of The Lodge at Harbor Bay were serenaded by the energetic songs of Mrs. Linney's Kindergarten class members as they joyfully ended the school year. Lodge residents and the kindergarteners' parents and teachers all had a marvelous time!

Congratulations to our very own Lauren Zimmerman Cook (CEO) and Stephen Zimmerman (COO)! Last Friday, May 15th, they joined their classmates at the USC Davis School of Gerontology in graduation exercises as they BOTH received their M.A.s in Gerontology. 

Not only did they both graduate with perfect scores, they made the USC News!

Happy Mother's Day!

To all the women in our lives, we wish you the very best of Mother's Days!

Here at AEC Living we began the celebration a week ago with Tea Parties at both Elders Inn and The Lodge. Friends, family, beautiful music, finger sandwiches, fresh fruit, and desserts...who could ask for anything more?

BINGO! for the Arts

Last Thursday, AEC Living and Phoenix Commons were the proud sponsors of Boogie Woogie BINGO at Rythmix Cultural Works here in Alameda. A good time was had by all as we Boogied to the banks and eagerly awaited the call of the next BINGO number, all in the name of "inspiring the community to engage in the arts and strengthen the value of creativity and discovery in everyday life".

A dozen members of the AEC Living family, including employees, residents, Phoenix Commons members, and relatives  attended the festivities. Some of us won, many of us lost, ALL of us had  blast!
