Boy Scouts and Seniors working together

The Canned Food Drive at the Waters Edge Lodge and Elders Inn was a great success.  Residents, Staff, and family members all helped out by donnating food to the collections bins.  We had several full grocery bags of canned and other non-perishable food that will help out those that are less fortunate during this holiday season.  

On Wednesday the 23rd local Boy Scouts, Evan  Lum an Eagle Scout from Troop 3 and Sam Rausser an Eagle Scout from troop 11 came to our facilities to pick up the food drive donnations and drop them off at the Alameda Food Bank.   It was great to have mulitiple generations and organizations helping out the local community.
